What is realLINGUA?

It's a new way to practice and learn languages!

Help your students learn new concepts, improve their understanding of authentic and unscripted native-speaker speech through short and quick bite-sized videos and quick exercises. 

We used our founder's 21 years of language-teaching experience and combined it with timeless principles of Comprehensible Input and some technological magic to bring you a way to absorb language, not just learn it. 

How Can I Use It In My Class?

We know that every professor's approach may differ, but in the end the goal is always the same: help our students learn to the best of their ability.

You know your students best which is why the items below are only suggestions. Use them as listed or change it up to work best with your class!

  • Offer extra credit based on the number of lessons each student completes within the app. 
  • Run 1-on-1 conversation practice drills using the transcripts inside each lesson.
  • Have students test their pronunciation for simple words.
  • Use the realLINGUA videos for quickly introducing new situations, words, or grammar concepts.
  • And anything else you can think of!

This semester we have a chance to try out a new language learning app called realLINGUA and you can earn extra credit based on how many lessons you complete within the app. 

If you complete 4 lessons you'll get 1 point of extra credit. 8 lessons gets you 2 points. All the way up to 4 extra credit points for completing all 16 lessons. 

The lessons are quite quick and will help you practice listening to real speakers and acquire some new vocabulary.
