You didn’t have to memorize grammar rules and vocab lists when you learned your first language — so why do that now? Learn to effortlessly speak and comprehend without pausing to think about the grammar you’re using. realLINGUA can help you understand a new language effortlessly, just like you understand your native-language.

Perfect Your Pronunciation
We often think we’re pronouncing something correctly, when we aren’t. That’s because we hear ourselves differently compared to how other people hear us.
Without someone there to correct the mistakes you don’t notice, learning can be laborious and frustrating.
That’s exactly why realLINGUA allows you to record yourself speaking & play it back immediately to seamlessly dial in pronunciation without questionable AI setups or expensive tutors.

What Our Happy Users Say:
What I like about realLINGUA is you teach how French actually sounds when it is spoken by native-speakers, and not spoken by robots or voice actors. I like that you teach “p’tete” instead of peut-être and “j’connais” instead of je connais – I haven’t seen that in any other language learning app.
I do like the approach of listening first; I found the text along with the conversation to be very helpful.
The CI² Method
realLINGUA works because of a linguistic concept called Comprehensible Input combined with our patent-pending Curated Immersion™ approach.
Comprehensible Input is often the biggest difference between those who plateau and those who progress quickly.
So, what is it?
It simply means that the materials you’re using for learning are just challenging enough to make you struggle, but easy enough so you can follow along with the gist of the conversation.
If your learning materials are too easy, your brain will go to sleep. If they’re too hard, your brain will get overwhelmed. The fastest learning happens in the golden middle.
You have to find the materials that are just right, and you have to keep finding new ones as you’ll quickly grow out of the old materials and need to find new ones.
That’s where our Curated Immersion™ approach comes in.
Our curriculum so that each lesson meticulously applies our research. Each lesson naturally introduces just the right amount of new language, for maximum Comprehensible Input learning.
Plus, you don’t have to waste time on learning phrases like “I am a mouse” or “the butterfly made me a cake.” This means you get to focus on the most frequently spoken 80% of your target language — and reach native-speaker understanding absurdly fast.

The Simple Process Behind realLINGUA
1
Listen to a Conversation In The Language You want to Learn
Listen to a conversation between two native-speakers. Don’t worry about “knowing” the words or “keeping up.” That will come!
Simply listen and enjoy the flow of the language. The emotions behind it. The fascinating, unfamiliar words and how they will slowly become as familiar to you as the words you’re reading right now.
2
Listen to the Conversation Again, but This Time Read the English Transcript
The more times you listen to the conversation, the more you will naturally absorb. Listening to it and focusing on the subtitles in the new language will allow you to absorb new words, while focusing on the English will allow you to connect the new words to their English counterparts.
3
Do the Exercises for the Lesson
The quick & easy exercises allow your brain to consolidate new words, improve pronunciation, and help you practice 80-150 words per lesson!
4
Listen to the Conversation Again, Focusing on the New Words You Now Recognize
You can listen to the conversation after you do the exercises, but for best results you should wait ~24 hours and listen to it again for your brain to fully consolidate some of the new words. You’ll be surprised at how much you can learn!
5
Repeat the Above Process & Move on to the Next Lesson After 3 Days Maximum
It might take a couple days and multiple repeats to fully grasp the lesson, but you should see your understanding improving day after day. We recommend moving on to the next lesson after day 3, even if you don’t fully understand or know all the words in the previous lesson. The lessons build on top of each other so the puzzle pieces will fall into place eventually.
